If I could make one suggestion. It would be to work on the body suit that you wear under the armor.
Get fake gears,joints, and wires air brushed on it. If you can't get it air brushed, at least use fabric paint.
That would really hide the fact it is cloth, and make this 5% better than it is already.
People wont even notice unless they get really close.
Just a suggestion. I figure with the amount of time you put into the armor something like that would be cake.
